    Pitching vs CPU (noob)

    Hi guys,

Completely new to the game. Just a general question about pitching vs CPU. So far I've been following the Catchers calls religiously except for a few times in Diamond Dynasty where I've pitched 3rd strikes into the dirt to get assist stats for Crawford/Mazeroski.

Do the guys that are experienced with the game follow the catchers calls also? Or do you do your own thing based on what you think? What are the ramifications of ignoring the calls and going your own way (ie. does the catcher start making mistakes because he is caught off guard)?

Also a minor secondary question - how long can you continue pitching when your pitcher has run out of energy?

    Cheers

I follow the catchers call 95% of the time, but that's just me. I don't have the glove location on the screen, I just follow his finger gestures. Also, when it says my pitcher is getting tired, I give him one more batter at most, but usually take him out either right then, if not in the middle of a count, or try to get him out the game slightly before the message pops up.

Cheers for the insight. I assumed that following the calls was the way to go but just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something.

Also think I'll generally pull my pitcher before I get to that point of tiredness.....only reason I been looking to push it a few times is in missions where need to throw complete games.
