    Baserunners not running on hits

It has happened to me numerous times as well. I’ll get a base hit, my runner on first will just stop running and will ultimately get thrown out at second if I don’t catch it quick enough. It is very annoying. I use assisted base running. And it’s not because the runner is making sure the ball isn’t caught. It happens on ground balls that get through the infield as well.

Seemed to me he was saying I’m basically full of BS unless I post a video. But the problem is this happens every year on here. I experience something and there’s always someone that doesn’t “believe” it unless I post a video. I’ve posted videos for people on here in years past and people ignore the problem and just say things like “you just suck at the game.” So no thanks. All I am seeing if anyone else is experiencing similar things.

Wasn't attacking you at all or saying you were full of BS. I'm just generally curious to see it because I never have. And I guess I've never seen the videos posted in the past.

I use assisted as well, so that's why it's so intriguing to me that we use the same method and have such different experiences.

          Question...do you use Guess Pitch?

Reason I ask is that I'm curious if somehow you are holding the R2 button for GP feature and its somehow translating into the running game thus having your runners hold?

Just a thought as I've not experienced any issues using ASSISTED baserunning.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I've had this happen many times on 17. The more I see the issues I've seen in 17 (ie this, outfielders slowing down inexplicably, etc) haven't been eliminated in 18, the more reluctant I am to get 18.

I am as critical as anyone about certain features that have been added, eliminated, ignored, etc. and I too would love to see a few things different but at the end of the day, I love the game. I've owned every one of these ever made and have no regrets about owning this one. There will never be a "perfect" sports title with so many moving pieces. When I get aggravated really all I need to do is go back to what I started out playing and compare to what I'm playing now in my 40's. Ha.

No, I don't use guess pitch. It just seems like they "think" the ball will be caught but don't even go halfway, they stay right around first. I just need to learn to press L1 to advance everytime when I know it will be a hit.

But the most recent one just baffled me where I hit a ball and it struck the pitcher and rolled on the ground to the 2nd baseman, but the guy on 1st didn't run at all. Even with an errant throw to 2nd he was still forced out by the time I noticed he wasn't running and had to manually advance him.
