    Pulled Groin on Homerun

Yes that just happened to me. Playing franchise and using quick manage the player hit a HR and I noticed he was immediately replaced. After the game revealed he pulled his groin. Lmao

How far did he hit the ball?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I'm playing 16 still and last night my RTTS guy hit a HR and was pulled after it because of an injury, but it didn't say what it was after the game and he was in the lineup the next day.

About five years ago or so there was a Mets player in real life who fouled a pitch off his foot and hit a HR next pitch. After the game it was revealed he broke his foot.

I feel like Coughlan or another Jay separated their shoulder last year when he hit a bomb.

Have you ever pulled a groin in real life? I have. I was playing hockey and I don't think my skates were sharp enough. So when I attempted to aggressively pursue the play on the ice, my skates did not bite into the ice, my leg slipped and ... bingo ... instant groin injury (and trust me they bite, it is a persistent dull pain and they take weeks to properly heal).

Now could this happen with a HR swing? Perhaps yes, perhaps no. It's definitely a different motion than what happened to me when I did it in hockey. However perhaps the injury occurred when your guy was running the bases? He might have started running really fast and pulled it that way. I have seen plenty of real world hamstring injuries from guys running the bases. Since it was quick manage injury, anything could happen since you can't actually see what happened. Now this is a game and of course there is a certain randomness built into the game when it comes to injuries. Who was your player and how old is he? When I was a young spring chicken playing tons and tons of hockey (I used to play 5-6 days a week) I did not need to worry about stretching and injuries such as groin injuries. However once I became a semi-old fart, all of a sudden the body was not as elastic as it was when you were younger and the realization that groin injuries could happen force me to take stretching more serious and for sure to make sure I was not playing hockey with dull skates.
