HR from the on deck circle!

    I was in franchise.

As soon as my pitcher let go of the ball it rocketed towards the on deck circle where it proceed to hit the players bat, launch into the air, and clear the fence for a dinger.

It was so wonky, and I had a 5-0 lead, so just took it for what it was and couldn’t stop laughing.

It was one of the weirdest things I’ve seen.

I took a vid of it, but I don’t know how to upload vids or pics. Sorry.

Also, after the game I wanted to see it again. This time the ball did go towards the plate, but the way the batter hit the ball, he should have popped out to 3rd, not hit it out to RF.

The ball was behind him when he made contact. Then it basically went up the shaft of the bat, through his arm and out his neck.

Like I said, it was weird.

I hit a homerun with Freddie Freeman and everything was fine and then on the replay I had this weird thing that you described happen. I took a video of it, I'll try to upload it later.

I've got video of a runner, safe on an error, coming up and standing in front of home plate while the pitcher pitches. Couple of pitches, iirc, then eventually he hightails it back to first with 'oh, hell, what was I doing' urgency and look on his face. It'll be included on my eventual video channel, for sure.

this will be fixed in the next patch, except after the patch the guy in the on deck circle will be in left field

That's fine as long as the leftfielder moves to the ondeck circle

I finally got around to uploading the video of this. It doesn't look like a HR in my video but it was when I hit it. Totally weird.

                    Wow that's amazing stuff

                    I love it.

That pitcher has good control though. It's hard to paint the outside edge of the on-deck circle. Props to the on-deck hitter for driving that ball.

                        That is hilarious!

I wish I captured it, during one of the broadcast cams as the inning was starting, the 2nd base umpire was sliding into the outfield and he looked just like the "Deal With It" gif here:

It’s happened for me twice. First time I had to call my son into room and replay it. We had a good laugh. Thank you mlb the show for that father son bonding moment at the hands of a glitch.
