Just play the game and auto the rest!

I decided to do a 2 year run sim letting the CPU control everything. I only had one winning season at it got rolled to the bottom of the list with a green check mark [emoji736] the first two check marks [emoji736] is auto and CPU sim the season and I quick manger the play off game and got beat out this year. So, I am going to restart my franchise and sim this current year and let the CPU do the rest and just play the game as it is. Do any of you do that?

Glad it worked, but no I won't be doing this. I don't so much care that my strategy, or plan works so much aas I can do it my way.

This points towards possibly the CPU building more competitive teams against you as well maybe tho..

A 22 win difference between 2022 and 2023 is impressive what moves did the cpu make to have such a big turn around?

A lot of trading and roster moves from AAA and AA! So much that I was shocked and I must say some great drafts. A lot of high 90’s picks. I saw a 99 overall pitcher that first ever I have ever had on any team I played with.

I was thinking about doing this. You can actually enjoy the mode without controlling every darn team in the game. Just play your game and let the cpu battle it out roster wise etc etc

I did this last year and doing it this year as well.

I pretty much just assume the role of player/manager (daily lineups, starting pitcher, playing & managing the games etc.)

I don't play quick counts or sim, but rather, play every pitch/every inning/every game.

I just don't like playing GM. Off-season is too complicated and trying to manage budgets, scouting etc. is too much for me.

Plus, I feel like I can put together a juggernaut team and the way the cpu is programmed to handle roster moves puts me at a huge advantage if I assume control of that aspect of my franchise.

It's fun to focus on the playing the games and then seeing how the cpu handles my roster.
