Yeah I see the 89mph and I only see me swing at 101mph lol.

But nah I play on FB speed 9 and off-speed 10 so I really feel the difference between the two.

Big time.

I use Fastball Pitch Speed of 10. It's a night and day difference between those velocities.

When there's a big difference in fastball velocity when a new pitcher comes in - I have to gear myself up/down, and sometimes it takes a few batters lol

Heck with offspeed at 10 as well, the difference in, say, a 78 MPH slider and a 89 MPH slider is as striking. And curve vs slider is just...I hope I never run into a pitcher with a 84 MPH curve and an 89 MPH slider...

Absolutely.

89mph fastball I have a few moments longer to adjust to the location. 100mph pitch, I have to basically sit fastball and have an idea in mind on where I'm going to swing/where pitch is going to be.

It also makes me pretty much forget pulling pitches with my lower power guys, which results in them getting more hits and higher OBPs.

Plus you can still turn on off-speed pitches with that approach.
