So for someone that is playing all games and controlling one team it seems I should move the injury slider to 8 from the default correct ??

I got excited I thought I may have seen my first injury I have played every game on the schedule so far from every team and stadium and finally I seen a injury!!

it was the yankees baltimore game 2 Chris gentry gets injuredy diving back trying to steal and almost getting picked off.... I get the screen oh no he needs t be taken out!! might miss a day or 2 so he gets replaced.

Anyway after the game no screen comes up so he must be fine then and not a serious injury.

So I guess finally after playing every game on the schedule till April 7 I seen some kind of injury

off topic but I also have not seen a so called rain delay yet... either in playing every single game, I have played games where it has rained most of the game buy no delay

starting to wonder if that is even added to the game. must be as rare as hell

I played all Spring Training games and have now played two games into the season injury free. I use quick counts.

I only control one team, I have the option set to experienced and have all the mode specific stuff set to manual. I have my injury slider set to 9. I have injuries “on”, CPU controlled teams are having a few injuries, maybe I have just been getting lucky. I am playing a new start franchise.....not a carryover.
I cannot think of anything I have missed as I have played this game since 06.....with that being said, I am 60 years old so maybe I am having a senior moment.

They are there. I had a couple rain delays, but they do seem on the rare side, or at least I haven't gotten many.

I got an injury in my fresh MLB18 franchise, so I don't think this will do much for me

Still nothing in my carryover franchises (all three of them, zero injuries in played games and I play all games in all franchises).

Is the carryover 30 team control?

Year 2/carryover save from MLB 17 to 18 and 30 team control. Injuries set to 9 for games played and 6 for simulated games. Playing every pitch of every inning in this franchise.


3 in-game injuries during game two of a three game set at the Royals.

Jarrod Dyson 1 day after missing 6 weeks with a broken hand gets hit by a pitch and is forced to leave for X-Rays on his hand again!- thank god they were negative! Just a bruise out for one game.

Greg Bird leaves the game after diving for a pop foul with an oblique strain. He is out for a week. (1-6 days)

Tanaka leaves in the 8th inning with back stiffness and is placed on the 10 day DL with lower back strain.
He will miss two starts.

Weird because I am getting injuries in my carryover. Game I just finished with the Rockies, Kolten Wong was removed due to an injury after trying to make a diving play. He is day to day.

Right now my MLB squad has Stephen Piscotty, Nick Martini, and Carlos Martinez on the 10 Day DL. Magnerius Sierra is on the 60 Day DL due back in late June, early July.

Right now my MLB squad has Stephen Piscotty, Nick Martini, and Carlos Martinez on the 10 Day DL. Magnerius Sierra is on the 60 Day DL due back in late June, early July.

Yeah it is bizarre. You and I are getting those in-game injuries. I am at May 20th of year 2.

Another detail is I did not advance my Year 2 file to Spring Training till I carried it over to 18 so I can get the most current/up to date schedule. I don’t know if that has anything to do with anything. But thought I would also add that fact in.

Got an injury in my fresh MLB18 - Mallex Smith day-to-day with a black eye (hit by the ball trying to make a diving catch). This was on 5 Injuries.

Nothing in my carryover Marlins or the MLB17 ones

I played an entire season on MOM. The only injuries I got were pre game pop ups or when simming. Not 1 in game injury and I play 1 sim 3 until the end of season. No rain delays of any sort. Played 4 or 5 in the rain but no delays. So I don't know what it is. it could be MOM, it could be just luck, either way it is an issue with injuries. I play with injuries on 9 and sim at 6.
