Re: Who had the most annoying windup/stretch?
Mengden is awful to pitch with. He will be finding a new home come July in my franchiseComment

Re: Who had the most annoying windup/stretch?
Signed Chris Tillman in my carry over. He has like a 6 second windup that drives me nuts but he his cheap and has the best record on my staff so far. He is like 8-2.

Who had the most annoying windup/stretch?
Glad to see this thread is so popular. I stumbled upon a CPU generated rookie in RTTS with a Satchel Paige-esque windup.
God help us all.

Re: Who had the most annoying windup/stretch?
Facing a weird windup doesn't usually bother me too much. I hate when my pitchers have overly long windups though. I am almost glad to let a runner on just to get them into the stretch. Just kills my timing on the pitch meter.

Re: Who had the most annoying windup/stretch?
Had a lot of trouble with Estrada out of the stretch in 17 on meter pitching. Not even sure if there's any real difference in 18, and maybe it's just because I've been pitching a lot with him, but I find it much easier this year.2025 Expos Expansion:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1295163793Comment

Pitching with Carl Edwards Jr. for the Cubs and has this crazy long delivery when he’s not pitching from the stretch.MLB: Chicago Cubs

Re: Who had the most annoying windup/stretch?
I just faced him with the Red Sox..That windup is perplexing, how he learned that I have no clue..
Not too bad out of the stretch though..Which is how I find most pitchers that have an unorthodox method of delivery..Comment

Re: Who had the most annoying windup/stretch?
Darren O’Day. The next time the Orioles run him out there against me, I’m switching over control and taking him out of the game. I just can’t handle it. I can’t even SEE the ball until it’s halfway across the plate.#LFC

Re: Who had the most annoying windup/stretch?
It's closer to a sidearm windup instead of a true submariner. I have considered it in the past but I just stick it out against submariners, knowing they have my number. Luckily I have O'Day on my O's team, but when he was a Ranger back in my old Oakland/Seattle days, I hated him.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Adding Diekmann to my list.
He comes around like Sale, except it seems like every pitch he has is moving diagonally to the plate."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment
