CPU manager playing players out of position

Any way to fix this? I'm playing against the Twins and the CPU subs Jason Castro into LF. It's not even a position listed on his secondary position.

I haven't had this happen this year, but the only thing you can do is switch controller sides (team select) and make a roster move for the CPU. It will burn a player, but that is the only solution I know of.

EDIT: Wanted to add that I've only played franchise mode.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

In some situations you can also look for position switching. For example if the catcher also plays first and the first baseman plays the OF, put Castro behind the plate, the catcher at first and the first baseman in the
      OF.

I have not seen it happen this year in Franchise game play nor in RTTS games. Not even the infamous non-catcher-catcher which was a huge problem in MLB 17. Not saying it cannot happen, I just haven't seen it.
