New Franchise with Updated Rosters?

Anyone know if The Show was the ability to start a franchise at the actual date in real life? Madden has the ability to start a franchise at a specific date and player stats and recording reflected real life. I bring this up as I fight the urge to start a new franchise every time a few roster update comes.

I play with the Braves, so roster adjustments are usually substantial.

What I do is simply wait for the first stable version of the OSFM rosters and then ride it out the whole season. That way you’ll always have the ability to bring up nearly any real player you want.
