Agree with about everything here and then some. Good article. Some thoughts to add on this one...

    - Having to use manual saves to control some of the incredibly bad trade logic is beyond aggravating. It's easy to do... but it needs some work.

    - Sometimes the number of games you play when it's raining makes me want to scream. I had to play the whole World Series in the rain in one season. I'm OK with having "weather" in the game.... but change it to a rain delay or rainout that requires you to make the game up. It's way beyond overkill the number you have to play in rain. Either that.... or give me the option to turn it OFF.

    - Outfield fielding needs some work. The way the screen flips when you are at the wall can create a comedy of errors just trying to pick the ball up. The fielding bug that resets your fielder when you are trying to adjust or shift is still there and has been since day one. Love playing defense... but would like to see some changes.

I agree that wet games are over the top. But you know manual saves can be used to get past this issue. There has been tons of times where I just did not feel like playing a wet weather game (usually when I am pitching) and all I did was sim to the end of the wet weather game, exit without saving the result and re-enter the game until I got better weather and then played my game.

The way the game resets our players after almost every pitch when I am in a DP defense or the Shift is annoying. I would like to see a better way to handle it. Oh and I am glad my Giants AA player is back playing SS after his first mandatory position swap recently ended. In the real world I liked playing OF when I played ball, but there were times in this game when the ball was hit off of an OF wall where I felt totally lost. Can it happen in the real world? Sure it can. But there is something about fielding especially in the OF that just does not seem right in RTTS.
