I Want To Go Home!!!
Whether it’s “I want to go home,” or “Hit the ball,” or I want the ball,” its hard to tell exactly what’s being said but it’s the same rhythm chant and it’s happening a lot in my game. I have counted 11 and 10 times in the past two games. I’m not counting anymore. Please get rid of this nonsense.Comment

Re: I Want To Go Home!!!
I realize that...but like I said, saying it 4 times is just salt in the wound at this point...we heard ya the first 2-3 times, lol....it can be quite frustrating when you’re experiencing something as annoying as this to have someone else come along and say they’ve never experienced it...well, how about when they do that 4 times in one thread, ya dig?...and again SDS, could think it’s not a big deal because they see that not everyone hears or notices it, so who knows, it could even prevent it from being fixed.
SDS doesnt fix bugs based on other independent forums threads. They have their own site (ShowNation) for bug reports. Thats why the the Bug Report Thread in this forum is locked.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

She's probably tired of watching everyone bunt all the time. I'd want to go home too

Re: I Want To Go Home!!!
I completely get why she wants to leave my games. I actually feel bad for her that she has to stay and watch my Rangers phone it in almost every night. It sucks her family has season tickets.Comment

Re: I Want To Go Home!!!
I just want to say that I fired this game up for the first time in a couple of weeks (was catching up with The Last of Us), and in just one inning I heard it close to ten times. I wanted to capture the footage, but every time I heard it I saved my gameplay, then another, then another.
I can still post them if you really want me to, but next time what I'll do is prepare for a full stream without edits that I can then point to exactly when the times come up that the kid is shouting.
One thing that may attribute to this though is playing through a home theater with channel separation, because I think I heard it through the left channel mostly and not the center or right channel. If some of you aren't hearing it, maybe you don't have that separation with your speakers as I do that can really distinguish it from everything else.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: I Want To Go Home!!!
Okay, so I just had an interesting find!
First of all, I am going to post a video soon that merges seven different files I saved back-to-back that has the kid shout the same thing within three batters.
Anyway, I have confirmed my suspicion that the sound bit is coming from the left channel only. I took one of my saved files and imported the audio into Audacity, splitting the left and right channels. As it turns out, you can't hear it at all in the right channel, but it is clear as day in the left (it's actually interesting to hear how different the two sound, if you ever try it out for yourself).
So what I did was I isolated the left channel and reduced the crowd noise to mostly try and get the shouting kid. You can hear that bit right here: https://vocaroo.com/i/s0t240AERqUj
When I get the video prepped and uploaded, see if you can hear it all seven times that it is said. And I **** you not that I am not doing a single audio trick here when I get it uploaded!Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

This game i played today, i listened for her but didn't hear her until the second or third inning. Sometimes i wonder if a certain thing triggers it. But then again ive heard it as soon as i could hear crowd noise on other games...so i dont know.Comment

Re: I Want To Go Home!!!
Okay, here is that video:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/NHHQ-dhcPRU" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Remember, these are seven different clips merged together. Any time that you see a hitch, that is me going to the PS4's Share feature and saving a video clip. Seven times you should be able to hear this kid (you're listening for this sound bit).
If you say "I can barely hear it," you wouldn't be saying the same thing if you were in my house. This is a video/audio file that is compressed by the Share feature, compressed by my video editor, and then compressed by YouTube. It is also not separating the channels on your computer the same way it does on my speakers.Last edited by Blzer; 07-29-2018, 10:00 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Heard her plain as day real quick!
If anything, she stands out even more than she does on my speakers or maybe my PC speakers are that much better."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: I Want To Go Home!!!
I only play Broadcast. I actually only play MLB Network as well.
But I believe it is seeded into the crowd audio. What I have yet to check out though is whether the pitching broadcast camera gets the same audio sound as the batting cameras, because I never heard the person yell it while pitching yesterday.
The other thing is there are different in-game moments for crowd audio, and there are different crowd capacities. They may have multiple layers upon layers, so maybe it only pops up during that certain layer based on the game situation.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
