    Start franchise from current date

    Think this would be an awesome feature. Whenever you start a franchise you would have the option the start on the current date with currents stats etc and be able to use your own rosters. It would be a great help for players like me who try to make everything as sim as possible and I’m currently in the process of trying to do that in my franchise and it’s VERY time consuming. If the show would implement this it would make franchise 1000x better imo.

      I kind of lucked out.

      I started a Jays one on to do a re-tool/mini sell off. My main thought was getting division leaders/wildcard teams to their respective positions (record wasn't a big deal, nor were the bottom teams). Ended up running 3 sims to the draft before it worked out, but got it pretty close to real life (Spoiler-By mid July the Jays are on pace to lose 100+

      I agree that this would be an excellent feature, but I'm guessing that you'd have to use SCEA's horrible rosters (I think NBA 2k does this, but their rosters aren't anywhere close to the 90 man in the Show), so I doubt they'll do it.

          Really hope that feature comes to the game next year. Both NBA2K and Madden have it, in Madden’s version you can even choose where in the season you want to start from.

              I think about this all the time. I hope it's something they add, much like the other major sports games. Like the poster above said, I'd imagine if they ever did add it, you would have to use their rosters, which would be the biggest downfall.

                  This would be cool, but yes, rosters would be the downfall.

                  I want a franchise where you control your team and the rest of the league is based off of the real results from around the league. It would take a lot to figure that out and implement, but that is the dream for all sports franchise modes for this gamer.
