Well in my first game I hit a 800 foot home run, committed 37 fielding errors, struck out 18, while striking out 24 times myself on the way to a 103-1 victory.

This is on default beginner with PADS sliders, using all analog controls except classic base running.

This is not meant specifically for MLB The Show but more for the industry in general. They really need to figure out a way to allow users to decide which patched version of their game they want to play. Similar to what EA does with NHL and tuners. While The Show hasn’t changed as drastically as Madden did from patch to patch, there still have been some significant swings in how the game plays from one patch to the next. It would be nice to pick a version without having to disconnect my PS4 from the internet or constantly having to manage the automatic download from happing. We should have that capability given all the technology available.

Keep playing. This way too small a sample size. Those stats should even out over about 8 more seasons. It's just natural variance in the game. That's baseball.

I'd take the user contact slider down from 5 to 4. That might help...

when pitching , I alternate every pitch between meter, classic and analog. That way I'm getting the best of all modes !!

That is all I ask too. Holy crap. Heard it a good 20 times in less than 3 innings last night. Just fast forwarded the rest, saved and called it a night.

I am also using a fictional roster of my own creation that has all players being from Disney animated movies with real life stats and contracts.
