    Pitching camera view

What do you guys use? I don’t mind broadcast but I’m just trying to switch it up just for the sake of doing something new.

    Thanks.

    Re: Pitching camera view

I pitch using the OUTFIELD camera.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

        Re: Pitching camera view

When I'm playing offline, I always use a behind the pitcher view, most often broadcast (which of course varies some depending on the stadium). Purely for aesthetic value.

Online is different. I use a behind the plate view for several reasons :

        - To verify the shift my defense is in without having to go to the D-pad menu

        - To keep an eye on a 2nd base runner's leadoff (the CPU stealing third is rare, but online players won't hesitate to do it with a good base stealer). This is a blind spot in the behind the pitcher view.

        - To soften the transition from pitching to fielding when the ball is put into play - it's less disorienting to not have your perspective suddenly reverse on contact, and helps me pick up the ball's movement off of the bat quicker.

        - On wild pitches i can get one of several camera angles of the ball going to the backstop which, again, can be disorienting. Behind the plate ensures that the view will always be facing home plate out towards the field of play on these.

For broadcast cameras I like Cleveland, San Diego, and San Francisco. I like them because I can see pitch movement pretty well even if the pitcher's left-handed.
