    Franchise vs real team question

Cano for the M's has been out most of the season on suspension. I even put him on the DL because I can't suspend him. The way the M's have been playing without him, would you trade him? I'm thinking about putting him on the block to see what I can get. I think the M's should do the same IRL.

    Thoughts on this?

In real life there won't be much of a market for a 35 year old that is still owed 120 million and coming off a suspension

This says it all. In the game you could probably find a way to trade him but you would have to do it ASAP before he really starts to decline. If his attributes are still high the CPU would still recognize him as a top player and you might be able to wrestle some prospects from another team for him.

In real life, the Mariners are probably stuck with that contract. I could see MAYBE a team like the Dodgers going to get him ONLY because they have deep enough pockets and don’t seem to mind aging players. But even then, slim chance.

Yeah, I didn't even think of that stuff. I should probably wake up first, and then post.

Yeah since he is a PED player if I was using the Mariners I would trade him for anything to anybody

because of my bias against A-Rod I used to have the opinion that I didnt want PEDly diddlers on my team but over time I changed my stance, mostly because of Ervin Santana on my Braves carry-over from Show 14. I decided the Show's Santana is different than the IRL Ervin & would never touch the stuff. I also love using Canseco & McGwire from the 1987 roster in the vault. Also I love to play with Ken Caminiti from '98 & alter his tragic fate into a HoF career as pure as the driven snow & clean as a baby's bottom.

also, as far as I know no player in the Show has ever even so much as even used amphetimines so unless it's A-Hole, suit up grab a bat (or glove) & play ball.

I literally just took this picture at my local convenience store. Look - all of their donuts come with their very own Alex Rodriguez!
