Situation: Bottom of the 8th. KC up 6-5 to Indians (me). Zimmer on 1st. Count is full with 2 outs. I send Zimmer (steal 83) and pitcher throws to first, pickoff because Zimmer ran.
Now given the situation I can see it being realistic even though its never (that I known of) been done on a full count with 2 outs that a pitcher would throw over. Its automatic that the runner would run. Also, I have seen it here and there in over all the games Ive played, but the runner has always stayed on the bag.
Im not mad that it happened, just kind of :O that it did.
Should the game program in that on a full count with 2 outs it automatically should send the runner(s)? Not that that might have changed this outcome, but just because its a give me in baseball.
Just looking for feedback and thought this was interesting occurrence.
