SCEA doesn't seem to provide a lot of DLC, unless it is for DD. Other games constantly update equipment, uniforms, shoes, etc. I know the age old reasoning of staff sizes will come up, but there two things in particular that I would like to see get worked on in the game during the year.
Two things I would really like to see receive updates as the season progresses would be:
1). Personal and team celebrations. Even if it is as little as just the latest trends for players reaching base on each team. Have one of the team members go into the mo-cap suit during the season and replicate what each team is currently doing for a celebration.
SCEA has made sure to ask for feedback as to what players and teams are doing, and they have come a long way in this regard of putting these things into the game. The problem is that almost every team changes these things up from year to year, or even during the season. So by the time you see the celebrations they have implemented they are outdated and jarring to look at because they are wrong.
2). Stance socks. I know that the uniform files in this game are huge and that they are not easily updated. Hence why it is super rare that they patch something mid year in this regard. But what about the new Stance socks?
It should be its own independent file and it would be great to see these get updated during the year, as well. Because a lot of the socks we see are not what is being worn, or do not match the current uniforms since there are only one pair for each team. Perhaps moving forward they could add 3-4 templates for these socks and update them as the year progresses based off of what is being worn in real life. They have the Stance contract, might as get the most use out of it, right?
Anyway, it would really go a long way if the dev team would update these nuances during the season to keep the game up to date. Not the most important things in the world, but I think it would make the grind of a long season more pleasant to see new things along the way.
