More in depth stats and awards that players have won. For example, hitting splits vs. righty's and Lefty's... career minor league stats. A players past AS appearances, Cy young awards, MVP's, etc.

That is sucha little thing to code in but it would be such a quality thing to add.

Maybe give managers sliders for how we want to play.

I think we should get something for playing the game long enough to reach 100 XP Diamond.

Blackmon needs his stance updated. He moves his front foot up and down in real life.

The Show is one of the best games I’ve ever played at depicting the imperfect aspect of athletes. I love when a player dives and misses the ball, or misplays the ball a little off the wall. It’s usually down perfectly. However, there’s one area that I wish would be factored into the game that I’ve never seen in a sports game before. And that’s mental errors. They happen, especially in baseball. Not often, but they do. I’d love to see them in the game every so often.

        For example:

A baserunner takes off on a line drive or pop fly, forgetting how many outs there were, for an easy double play.

A pitcher does not cover first base on a bunt or play the first baseman has to make.

No one catches a pop fly on the infield.

A fielder vacates a base (example: third baseman fields a bunt and runner advances to second) where no one covers it allowing the runner to take an extra base.

This should be of the RAREST occasion, but a fielder catches a ball with less than two outs and throws the ball in the stands, thinking it’s the final out of the inning. Milton Bradley, anyone?

Again, these all need to be pretty rare, maybe just a couple times a year and the last one maybe once every few years at best, but I’d love to see mental errors in the game.

People already believe the game is scripted. You have one of these things happen to them that causes them to lose a game and these same people will lose their damn minds!

People feel that way because it is random and unexplained in the game. If the show had a rating for a player’s situational awareness in the field or on the basepath it would be more understandable and somewhat acceptable if miscues happened because a player was new at a position and could be referenced.

Give the option to turn it on or off then, just like variable umpires.

I was making a light hearted comment, but hey options are always good.

For franchise mode. Please roate interleague schedule. Show awards, ASG apperances, HR titles, cy young etc. On players card. Have a hall of fame section where we can continue to see whose in the HOF every year. And a section where u see a list of all time records.

Re: MLB The Show 19 Wishlisht

So many things for franchise so I’ll just try and list them. Will probably be a jumbled mess but not like anyone from the show will see it.

                      - realistic stats- this entails so many things.
•for batters the minimum for K% isn’t close to real life. There’s a decent amount of guys in the single digits and on the show the lowest I’ve seen I think is 12% or so. Also, BB% doesn’t have the ability to go high enough as well. Make
It so a 99 rating will lead to a 22% walk rate or a 5% K RATE. This way it leaves us the option to get it right. With the way it is now there’s nothing we can do.

                      • RP usage is closer but still off. Closers don’t pitch enough and for most part only pitch when there’s a chance for the save. LOOGIES pitch too many innings etc.

                      • RP STATS. just like with the hitters. Just make a 99 rating mean a 20%K rate or something. What’s the harm in us having the option?

•PLEASE give use the option to start a franchise from the real time day it is with our own rosters. Would add so much realism and save a lot of people unnecessary work when starting a new one.

                      • ability to customize our current stadium or build a new one. Also ability to relocate, make new uniforms etc

•like I’ve with realistic stats. Just make the 99 rating something above any beyond what you think it should be. Like a 99 power leads to usually 60+ HRs or so just so we have the OPTION. Because this year no matter what I did there were so many stats I could do nothing about because of this.

                      • not franchise related but please get all the uniforms correct. Cards Sunday hat and many other examples.

                      • more licenses with gear. More shoes gloves etc. please fix the issue with not being able to edit the NB shows logo color!

I would like to see more meaningful quirks, not just ones that reflect a rating you can easily see. It really added a great new dimension to NBA 2k and I think it could do the same here. I thought of one earlier that would be great to see, I'm sure there are many others.

                          I have two more.

Call Game rating for catchers. Their sequence will more closely mimic the games programmed sequence of the beat pitches and location to throw in a given situation.

Framing. This one is simple and easy to implement. All it is is a modifier that takes the umpire's strike zone and gives the pitcher a slightly better chance of getting a strike called on balls outside that zone. It would loosen the zone a bit (which is needed) and give catchers something to do besides catch the ball.

If dynamic commentating is not in next years game will not be buying. Also, I think they need to reimpliment the announcers saying everyone's name who is in the starting line up like they did in previous years version but took it out. I hate when Vashersian says every game well here is the starting lineup for todays game. Well Dan who are you looking at to shine today. That gets old. Please announce each prayers name and position of the start of the game. Also, please have the announcers say if I have a pitcher warming up please say my team as well not just the other team pitcher warming up. But I just want to say if they wont implement dynamic commentary in next years game probably wont buy and they know they need to change this. I hope they get rid of vasgersian to. Get new announcers. Cheers all.

Would love these so much! Would be a great way to separate the catchers.
