Human controlled team, I wouldnt see why you couldnt. I dont believe the game makes you (HUM) have certain number of hitters or pitchers.Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players

Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably. -

Its absolutely possible. Its how I usually run my franchise. In fact, I've done only 10 pitchers sometimes if I have both a great closer and great long reliever.
I really feel more comfortable with the six man bench than I do the deeper pen.Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.Comment

Here is the challenge. Essentially everyday you'll have to check all 30 lineups to ensure the cpu didn't do call ups/send downs etc.
I tried to go the other way (it's kind of how real MLB is now) and go 13 pitchers and 12 position players. It became very tedious to have to be checking everyday to ensure all 30-teams stayed with that set up.

Just set up each team's 25 man to your desired 14/11 set up and set the CPU profile to manual for call-ups; then you don't have to deal with their lineups but they won't make moves to fill roster spots without your input. You may want to set injuries to manual too as I'm not sure if set to auto the CPU won't force a move if a player is put on the DL that would upset the balance you're seeking.Comment
