    Franchise Notifications Help

Is there any way to get as many notifications as possible?

I really do enjoy knowing what's going on in the league: trades, signings, injuries, call-ups, etc...

But I hardly ever get any notifications. Basically, only when there's a major trade.

I don't even get any notifications when I sign somebody in the offseason.

Not that I'm aware of. You just have to read through the Transactions page for daily/yearly transactions.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Aside from not getting a pop up notification when a player signs with your team, its always been this way. You've always had to view the transaction page to see the "non-major" signings and trades during the season/offseason.

I've been playing The Show since 2008, and I've always been frustrated by this. The game does a really shoddy job of "holding your hand" through a lot of things, especially in the offseason. There is no right answer, sadly. All you can do is go through the transactions page every single day and scroll down.

The worst part is that this year, you don't even get notifications in the offseason when YOUR OWN players resign with you, or have some other status change. Why they would take that out of the game is mind boggling! They just disappear from the main screen, and you have to go look to see if they took your own offer or signed with someone else.
Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.

Exactly. Just shows they blatantly don't care enough about franchise to make it user-friendly.

Oh man, I though it was an option that wasn't on. That must be the most dim thing to remove from the interface. Yet you still see the most important signing of other teams, but you can't see any of your own!

How to make off-season a full slow pain process when it was fine before.

Unfortunately there’s no way to increase the amount of notifications you get, they only happen when major trades or free agent signings happen in the offseason. I don’t really expect them to add notifications for smaller things, notifications for your own players during the offseason needs to come back though. Not sure who thought removing that was a good idea and I don’t see how the devs just completely miss it and leave it out.

Well it was one of my favorite time in the game. Now it just feels distant and bland. Even the idea of presenting the players card instead of the text with stats, is absolutely boring and make decision making a slow process.

I am kind of happy to not have payed the full price for this, but pissed off for making the UI worst in that area. On top of that, I still don't see the batting against left stats...here's a shovel to dig them up. Or you just have to calculate them by hand.

At least the game on the field seems slightly better.

Might, but they would land in your mailbox. Not has a immediate notification. Didn't test it because I went very fast over the off-season.

                        Re: Franchise Notifications Help

I found out how to get the information.

You sim one day, you position yourself on the calendar window and hit Triangle. In that window, do one R2 to get your team. All the activity for your team is there.

It's slow and buried. Not very practical.
