Let me start this off by saying, in my opinion you are very limited to what you can do from a managerial aspect when it comes to MLBTS. You get generic defensive shifts and generic substitutions. However, I feel they should open it up some. Simply put it you can think it you should be able to do it. Here are some features I would like to see added.
Custom shifts: Yes this is a much needed feature. If I want 5 outfielders, or 5 men on one side of the infield then I should be able to create said shift.
Remove substitution restrictions: If i want to move a pitcher to the OF and bring another in to pitch, only to bring the aforementioned pitcher back to the mound 2 hitters later I should be able to, joe Maddon anyone?
Ability to create baserunning and pickoff plays: Pretty self explanatory, but something that would add to the chess match.
