    Weather issues

Just played a game in Cleveland. April 13th, 7:10p first pitch, Wind was 11.3 out to LF, AND it was 23 degrees. Im pretty sure (even if no lake effect) that would be SNOW! Its bad enough I cant get rain delays in my Manage franchise, but this is the oddest weather I have seen. I cant even figure out how to justify it.
Really wish sports games played to ratings!

MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

hahahahahahaha. That game wouldn't even had been played. I find that 18 eliminated several features that I found interesting in the game. It's too bad.

Now I do have to say with the wind being 11 mph and out to Left, it was great seeing that game have a total of 5 homers, 4 being to LF. However, with the temp, I would think it would have killed those, but I did have quite a few high hits fall short of the wall.

Its things like this, I would like to see the game factor in better. There has to be the technology, so I would think it could be worked into the game instead of silly things like retro mode in franchise.

it can rain in 20 degree weather. freezing temperature doesnt automatically turn rain into snow.

You are correct, it is possible, but not likely. Especially lake effect would make the chances of that a lot less. Now if it was closer to 30's, I could write it off easier. Snow would be nice to add to weather as (witnessed plenty of times) but since the game doesnt have postponed games, it would be unlikey to see heavy snow. Flurries would be cool though.

Again, it would be something that a lot Im sure would like to see better then silly things like retro in franchise.

I hate playing in 23 degree weather because the controller hurts my hands when i make poor contact.

Not necessarily. Just because it's freezing cold doesn't mean that players still can't hit homeruns. One of the weirdest games I've ever seen was in 2013 when the Braves played the coldest game ever in Denver against the Rockies. It was 30 degrees and the Braves won 10-2 and hit 3 homeruns. Even when it's cold guys can still hit homeruns if they square of the ball.

I should have worded that better, sorry. Yes homeruns can be hit in cold weather. I wasnt trying to say that "no" homerun should be hit.

Does the game factor in temperature when it comes to HR's and general ball physics? I'm guessing it doesn't or at least I haven't noticed that it does after hundreds of games played.

The weather is totally wrong for Phoenix. I am playing in mid June at home and it has the roof open with temps in the mid-60's.....LOL. The next day low-70's, then upper 50's.

Should be roof closed once you hit June here with temps between 90-110*...with temps dropping to low 90's/upper 80's after sunset.

my experience is yes it does and I believe the devs have said it does.

Hitting in St.Louis on a cold/cool night in April, September, October is vastly different than hitting in the warm summer months. The ball carries more in the warmer weather in my experience.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
