On the second video, 8/9 out of 10, those would foul off from what I have observed watching real games. Now I dont watch a ton of real games with random teams. Meaning, I catch about 130 Indians games a year, about 20 to 30 Braves games, and about 15 to 20 other games around the league. Usually those just get fouled off. Like CB said, I believe the game programs it more as a attempted bunt.

Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably. -

In terms of the first video, really nothing to say on that other than it needs to be addressed.
In the videos in regards to the ground rules at AT&T park, I would submit those to SDS as bugs.
As for the second video, I'm really not sure what the rule is here. I'm thinking because it was a check swing (not a full swing) the game is treating it as an attempted bunt therefore eliminating the infield fly rule. (Line drives and attempted bunts are excluded from the rule)

However, even if i saw that play as a broken bat full swing i would not expect that to be an Infield Fly due to its low trajectory and difficulty. I have seen it happen in real MLB on actual full swings with much easier plays and not be called an infield fly. It's definitely one that would get fans of the opposite team stirred up, even then lol. Controversy follows that rule it seems.
(That play in real life would likely need to be a spectacular play by the pitcher. I don't think most pitchers would even get there.)Comment

I had some horrendous swings in this game.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Running back to make a catch isn't ordinary effort I don't think. Whenever I've seen the IF Fly rule, especially in The Show, it's a guaranteed 99.9% chance of being caught.
It's just a tough play. It happens. Doesn't mean it's "cheap". It's one of those things in baseball that proves it's a quirky game and weird things happen sometimes.Last edited by KBLover; 07-30-2018, 10:19 AM."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

How do you record a game?
I'm not tech ignorant, but I'm not familiar with all of this on console (used to PC gaming/recording).
Granted, I doubt anyone wants to see my play LUL."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Press the SHARE button on the controller and then select BROADCAST GAMEPLAY. You'll then get the option to link your PS4 to either Twitch or Youtube.
With Youtube (what I use) you link the PS4 and your Youtube account together and then you have to wait 24 hours for it to verify you account and get you set up.
To just record press the share button twice.
That is the best I can explain it as I'm very tech ignorant.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

You can change that. I looked it up - and there's a setting for video clips that lets you set the length the double clicking Share gives.
I put it on 60 min. Of course...it will take a week to upload I bet LOL"Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment
