    Broadcast view hitting

Is there seriously no way to turn off the beach ball setting when you bat using broadcast view? It looks totally ridiculous, and totally ruins the immersion. It’s humongous and looks pretty unreal. Would love the option for the ball to look the same as it does when you pitch using broadcast.

You cannot. The devs changed that a couple of years ago for some reason. I guess they thought it was tough to see the ball? I don't know, but I agree that it's very annoying.

It's incredibly annoying, and needs to be an option.

No joke, I went back and watched some of my old YouTube videos of The Show gameplay from the PS3 days, and it dawned on me that I could pick up the pitches better. It doesn't matter that the ball was coming in faster, and it was smaller and less white. I could simply read things better than I can now.

If you play a CPU vs. CPU game, the beach ball isn't there. This was a problem with the Vita when this kind of things wasn't an option because apparently "you can't see the ball if it's normal size," and yet when you see a CPU vs. CPU game on there you can see it clear as day, not to mention if you do Remote Play it's not like suddenly it shows up the same way it does with the Vita version, and you can see it on that just fine. I have a YouTube video that shows exactly that.

I've even found some parks with some times of day where the pearly white beach ball is harder to see than a ball under shadows and such, like in Miller Park. I'll have to find my GIF that shows this.

      Allow us the option, please!

I agree. I think sometimes it is harder, but for another reason. The ball is so goofily big, that when it’s coming towards the plate I can’t tell if it’s going to be on the black or in or out of the zone. With the ball looking like a beach ball it’s harder to pick up on the location. Between this and an actual slow pace game like they used to have, it’s really taking away some of the sim this game used to shine with.
