    Franchise Ratings and Player Happiness

So I’m about 70 games in with the Braves. I’m a 4 games under .500

When a roster update comes out, I jot down player stats and update the player on my franchise. I have noticed that player ratings in my franchise lead to a higher overall than the player rating for standard play. Anyone notice this and have a fix? Before you ask, this hold true when traits are not increased or decreased due to season performance.

Also - Freddie Freeman is all kinds of pissed about his contract and coaching. Anyway to help the situation in season other than firing manager?

The contract for Freeman can’t be fixed unless you have a ton of cap room. And for coaching you do need to fire your coach and hire an A rated coach.

There is no fix, unfortunately their is no way to turn off morale and stop it from affecting ratings for those that would like too. You can’t do anything about players upset with their contract, there’s no mid season contract extensions or anything and you can’t go in and edit a players contract in franchise.

By the way, you don’t need to jot down ratings for roster updates anymore, they have a website page now where you can view all the ratings changes. It shows all new players added, all players who’s ratings changed, including the specific ratings on each player that changed in that update. Easiest way to do it in my opinion. Just letting you know in case you weren’t aware.

I should clarify about having the cap room. You would need to cut Freeman, wait his 3 waiver days and then re-sign him for the money he desires.
