Whenever I can get 8 innings from my starter, I feel like those qualify as some of my best games ever. I dont score double digits runs a lot either, but when I do, I count those among my best also.
fielding-wise, my best game ever was way back when I switched from 2K to the Show, I remember a game in particular I had 6 or 7 double plays in one game. the main reason I remember it is because in the 9th inning, I technically had 2 double plays in that last inning. the tying run was on 2nd with none out. the third strike got by my catcher but instead of going to first for out one, I was miraculously able to cut down the runner on 2nd trying to advance to third. the next batter then grounded into a game-ending DP. I was so fortunate to win that one. I figure in another 10 years I'll remember it as having 9 or 10 double plays in a game
