Anyone else have the game stutter as soon as pitcher releases the ball?

Wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue. It hasn’t been corrected in any of the previous updates. I’m not even playing online. I’m in franchise mode, playing the computer, and the game stutters as soon as the pitcher releases the ball. I pause for a bit to let things catchup, but it’s quite frustrating. Hitting is almost impossible as the stutter is slight and then a 95mph fastball goes right by me.

Anyone have the same or a resolution?

I've had it happen about 1 time per game over the course of the last week. Luckily when it's happened to me, the pitch has been a ball

Yeah I've had it happen on occasion, but not every game or anything like that.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I have it happen when I'm trying to rush through a game.

If I'm taking my time, I can usually notice when it's about to happen, so I either step out of the box, or take a little practice swing before the pitcher throws. Same deal when I'm pitching, if I notice it start to skip, I'll step off and start again.

Seems to be a problem with the basic PS4, and not with the pro. Obviously kind of a pain, but I'm ready to shell out another $400 bucks on a pro at this point.

Like others, I have had it happen, but it is not very often. Played 4 or 5 games last night and it happened once.

Rebuild your database on your PS4, this is a must for performance issues. I rebuild my database at least once a month, to keep things running smooth.

1.Turn off your PS4 using the power button on the front of the device.

2.Hold the power button down and wait for two beeps. ...

3.Connect your PS4's DualShock 4 controller to the console using a compatible USB cable.

4.From the Safe Mode menu, choose option five, Rebuild Database.

No consistent circumstances when it's happened, but yea - it's happened maybe once per game.

Nope, it just dumps the cache from your hard drive, sort of a partition type of feature.

I am getting to safe mode, but my controller isn’t working for some reason. I have it plugged in to the console.

Mad props to this guy. This completely solved the issue for me.

No glitches on this year's game. Years past I dealt with it every so often but not this year. It's weird to me that others have this and not me. Same with that whole "I wanna go home" thing.
