21 Seasons into RTTS and It Feels Like Everyone Has Minimum 70 Speed
I have a RTTS pitcher that is in year 21 of RTTS and I’ve noticed that any base runner that reaches seems to always have wheels. The current day of baseball sees the number of SB’s dropping. Maybe SDS thinks this is what the future holds but I find it irritating that everyone is a SB threat this far into the future.

Yeah my 2014 carry over has too much speed. 60+ speed is common. 40- speed is rare. 10- speed is unheard-of.

What are the average OVR ratings for players? How many 90+ rated guys are in the league?Comment

Re: 21 Seasons into RTTS and It Feels Like Everyone Has Minimum 70 Speed
You guys must have all my speed demons because between myself and the Giants, we're basically the only teams with any consistent threat on the bases in my Year 14 save.
Granted, I don't consider 70 fast. I consider 60-65 to be MLB average so 70 would be a tick above.
I did a player search for MLB level and sorting only by speed.
90+ : 3 players
80-89: 23 players
70-79: 56 players
60-69: 92 players
50-59: 89 players
40-49: 112 players
30-39: 81 players
Under 30: Whatever the number of pitchers is because just about all of them have literally 0 speed.
I don't think that's a lot of speed. Most are between 50-69 which is around MLB average, imo. The largest category are the fringe speed guys and then the godawful 30's are almost as much as the average-range categories...
And then there's all the pitchers."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Very detailed and excellent post. I consider 70 fast but maybe that’s because I don’t like throwing to bases.

I think it depends on how you've discovered players in your franchise. I have a lot of speed but it's all from the same positions in my franchise (year 2030). I'm pretty sure that's because of how I've used discovery in the past, so I've created a bunch of those types of players for the draft pool.Comment
