Re: Let's Discuss Wild Pitches/Passed Balls

Nothing like bumping a nearly 4 month old thread.

I am nearly at the same point of my franchise that I was when I created this thread and I must say, I'm not sure what the difference is, but after 43 games my team only has 11 wild pitches on the year, whereas last year at this time (mid May), my team had 28 thru 40 games. I guess the biggest difference is that I have Carson Kelly and Francisco Pena as my catchers and both are rated highly in blocking and reaction.

Other than that, nothing has changed. I still pitch the same, use the same pitching mechanic, and am playing on the same exact settings. My pitching staff has changed a bit, but if anything the control of my staff this year is lower than it was a year ago at this point.

None of the patches released since this thread was created have addressed the wild pitch issue, so I'm not sure why the big disparity, but I'm not upset about it.

Anyone else notice a reduction in the amount of wild pitches they are seeing in game?

Unless you use classic pitching, I'd assume you just got better skill wise.

It could be as I use Meter Pitching, but it doesn't feel as though anything has changed.
