Always a Flyout When a Runner is on 3rd with the AI

Anyone else noticing this? This is the outcome 99.999999% of the time. I never get another out than this one. I think it's such a cheap way to get a run.

Haven’t a clue why it’s like this for you, but certainly not my experience at all.

I've struckout the CPU plenty times w/runner on 3rd. Walked my share too, sometimes intentionally. As for groundouts, I know I've been on the hill w/no outs and a runner on 3rd because I threw to the plate but the runner went back. This just happened the other day. It was the 9th inning & I was up 2-0. Next pitch was a walkoff homer.

Nope not at all. I've pitched my way out of plenty of runner on third jams. Mind you my pitching staff in my 2014 carry over is godlike... Might have something to do with it.

Try more low Change Up, sinkers or 2sm low away. Don’t be afraid to walk one on low zone pitches.

The AI hack at everything and hit breaking balls like they're fast balls. They seem to hit them better. This problem isn't every game, but every few games I have. Thanks for the advice.

If they hack at everything, then you're throwing everything over the plate. The AI will actually strike out on a ball six inches off the plate. If you aren't throwing intentional balls, then you aren't setting up the AI.

My biggest problem in this situation is I'll either get a strikeout or induce a pop up to get to two outs and think I'm in the clear, then I give up a base hit to score the run

Can't let up just 'cuz you're an out from getting out of the jam. Gotta bear down on that last hitter too!

                    100% this.

                    And 6 inches is conservative.
