If the NL ever makes the mistake of adopting the DH

My preference would be for the Show to retain the current option to turn the DH off in franchise mode.

I use manage mode and non-DH games are far more fun to manage.

Out of curiosity do you use an NL Team?

I've always felt that those who use an NL team are far more accustomed to managing a lineup without a DH, than vise versa.

Yeah I like having to factor when the pitcher is due up in to my bullpen management. Realistically I could probably play with a 23 man roster if I was using a DH

Funny, but I'm going to recreate an entire NEW MLB when I begin my franchise soon, with a fantasy draft - all teams begin anew. Both leagues will be using the DH (Hey, I'm an American League guy through-and-through. Don't hate me!)

But I agree - I hope the option is left open IF this ever comes into being.

if the NL does go DH, then the American League, in an attempt to stay ahead of the curve, oughta use TWO DH's. One for pitcher & one for catcher.

If/when that happens, we can have that discussion in this forum.

Until then, the discussion of the DH is an ongoing one in the MLB forum and can be talked about there.
