Re: Commentary Errors
I end up turning commentary off and kinda just commentating in my head most of the time because of various things mentioned in this thread. However the show has some of the better commentating as far as sports games imo, madden is the purest form of *** there isComment

Re: Commentary Errors
I came across a few others. deGrom won the Cy Young and MVP, then in the post season he was batting and they said it was a rare instance where the Cy Young winner was facing the MVP.
In a Mets vs Yankees WS games they said the Mets were facing off against their division rivalsComment

This happens to me whenever my pitcher who won both the cy young and MVP batsComment

Commentary Errors
I’ll get “when the weather starts warming up and the ball starts flying out of the yard” - in reference to home runs being hit - regardless of the month I’m in
My team has 4 homers, the other team has one (their only hit) and they talk about how it’s 5 homers combined, then DeRo talks about how both teams are really tearing the cover off the ball and locked in yada yada yada
Talking about LeMahieu being in the running for a batting title even though he’s batting .245
DeRo making it seem like the team leading the league in Batting Average isn’t a big deal and he’s more concerned about OPS, but doesn’t mention the team also leads the league in OPS

Re: Commentary Errors
Couple things...
Pregame Yankees vs Baltimore where the commentators mention how the Yankees offense rely on speed and small ball, despite leading the league in home runs with over 150 homers by late June.
"The powerful Nick Markakis". What?Comment

Re: Commentary Errors
In Spring training game in my White Sox franchise the CPU had 2 on nobody out they sent both runners and the batter hit line drive right at my 3B to start the 5-4-3 Triple Play and the commentators called it a double play no mention of the triple play at all...Comment
