I can get two-strikes on batters with relative ease, but finding that elusive third strike is extremely difficult for my starters.

Do you use the pitcher/batter analysis at all?
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

        Yes. Frequently.

This is not a huge deal for me. And I do have occasional games where I get decent strikeouts. But I couldn't tell you the last time I had double-digits with a starter.

I just finished a game where Jose Quintana had eight strikeouts through six innings. That's a good K/9. I just find it peculiar that my starters are literally my last five pitchers in that category. Especially Darvish and Lester who are career 10-11 K/9 guys. And they're 7-8 on my game. I'll just chalk it up to them being older. Ha.

I'm the exact opposite. I'm pretty good at getting the third strike, it's getting to two strikes that's the struggle. Might be an interface/settings thing though, since I know not a lot of people use my particular settings.

            I pretty much use Armor's method/settings.

I play with classic (Hall of Fame) and no pitch aids but with vibration on.

Sorry, late to get back to you-

HOF pitching, meter pitching and Armour's sliders with a couple of human hitting tweaks, no changes to CPU.
