    Ties, tiebreakers, etc.

I'm pretty sure The Show has tiebreaker games for ties within a division, but what about scenarios like the one's in the link below? Where there's a four way tie.

In real life it's a possibility that the Dodgers and Rockies tie for the NL West and the Brewers and Cardinals tie for the top Wild Card spot. If that happens, as the link explains, the Dodgers would play the Rockies in a tiebreaker and the Brewers and the Cardinals would play each other as well. Then after that, both losers would play another game against one another for the final Wild Card spot. I'm curious how the game would handle this scenario.

If you've got a dog in the fight that is the National League playoff race, by all means root for your club to have an easy path to and through the postseason, with off-days aplenty that are good for the mind and soul.Just understand that the rest of us want

Not sure as I've never seen more than two teams tied for a playoff spot.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Me, either, but I'm curious what would happen in the game and if it would handle it correctly.

I don't recall the details but i think it was last year I had 3 teams tied for the second wild card spot; I don't know how it was decided but two teams played first, winner went on to play the third team, then the winner of that game played the first wildcard team.

You'd break the internet if you do that, along with the time-space continuum. And I had a really nice dinner planned for tonight so please don't do this!

But srsly, I wonder how hard it would be for SDS to make playoff mode expandable to say 16 or 20 teams, like a sort of tournament or reduce the amount of teams to 2 or 4.
I don't know what 2K has under the hood to allow this but their basketball game has all kinds of customization for the league rules such that your league could look totally different from what the NBA is today. Not fair to then expect The Show 'should be able' to follow suit, but that kind of customization has drawn me to a video game of a sport I don't really watch. In The Show I'd love to be able to set such rules (and I'd go back down to 4 teams per league for the playoffs! )

That's really cool. And I'm pleasantly surprised to know that it works like that.
