I wish I could play franchise, but sadly online franchise was removed. Fingers crossed it comes back and is better than ever in ‘19.

Is the QM bug still around? I'm talking about the bug where if you're in the middle of a game, and then you choose to QM to the end, it resets all your players' stats for that game to 0. The score and everything remains the same, but only the stats that happened in QM get recorded and everything that happened in the part of the game that you played gets earased.

I haven't played The show in 2-3 months or so, and I started playing again a couple days ago. I'm afraid to quick manage a game in progress because this bug happened to me a few times messing up my stats. I really hope it got fixed.

      Thanks.
Wish I could answer this, but I'm not sure. I usually either play the full game or QM the whole game, and those few times I am hopping in and out I'm not really paying attention.

There's something satisfying yet heart crushing to lose in playoffs since it matters A LOT after a 6 months (in my case) marathon. The length is what's different from NBA, NHL, Madden... I actually care.

I could be eliminated in Madden and didn't care that much since I knew a month later, I'd be back again in my 2nd season playoffs. That is also why I do not sim in The Show since I'd get the same feeling... and I want to own all of my stats.

          Just my take
Exactly the same. I play every pitch of every MLB game. I'm also in the early stages of year two (18-6). Love seeing everything happen and play out.

I was doing a thing where on my off days I would watch my minor league games, just to see my prospects in action, but I stopped doing that. Found myself looking at my phone and not paying attention anyway.

I pick 2 SP and will always play their games while quick managing the rest. I do that thru the AS game. After the break, I use the same 2 (injuries can make it change), but will pick a 3rd to use during each 5 game rotation while quick managing the other 2.

I find that way I still manage to play a good number of games, but the season moves along at a decent clip. And I play all playoff games....If I make it. In year 3 so far, (missed playoffs in year 1).

Like many of us, I just want it to come back. I’m hoping SCEA makes it similar to Madden’s CFM so we don’t lose features in an online franchise. Online has played really well this year. So if they have fundamental piece dialed in now, let’s hope they can reintroduce Online Franchise and build on a solid foundation.

Re: How do YOU play your Franchise?

With the exception of Madden's PTM mode, I can't stand simming, whatsoever.

The monstrosity that is the MLB season is ridiculous to get through, but it's very rewarding to play every pitch & end up, 162 games later + playoffs, with all your own stats.

I did this in MLB 16, and to this day, it has been one of the most rewarding franchises I have run. I used the Cubs and went through the trials and tribulations of hot streaks, slumps, winning streaks, losing streaks, etc. Then, after 162 games, and an NLDS win, we lost to the Dodgers in Game 7 of the NLCS. Mind you, this was 2016, so imagine the heartbreak as a true Cubs fan, losing in the NLCS. I didn't get the chance to start another season that year, but man it was worth it.

My suggestion would be to do this each year & then carry over your save into the next iteration. It's almost impossible to get through two seasons while playing every pitch, unless you play over the winter, which I can't stand (Snow + Baseball = ???).

I’ve never been able to play through an entire 162 and I want to so bad. It sounds like a fantastic experience. Did you use a slider set when you did this?

I've played with one hand, back after I was recovering from surgery and had my dominant arm in a sling for 3 months. It was MoM though.

Made me a huge supporter of MoM, even though I never use it anymore. Nice to know that if I ever become disabled there is still a video game that I can easily play and enjoy.

I've seriously considered starting a MoM franchise, but I'm not willing to set aside the time (especially with all the other video games I play).

It's very worth it to do it once every few years.

I used Hall of Fame difficulty with a variant of FenwayMac's set from the sliders sub forum. I changed and tweaked a few things, but I found them to be competitive. I also used Quick Counts, which I think is 100% necessary. It's far too easy to avoid walking someone and or striking out as a batter. With QC's I found my walks and k's to be realistic, at least much more than they would have been without. I get this takes away from playing "every pitch", but we know baseball, there's a lot of fluff sometimes in the count.

To this day it's probably in my top 3 for most rewarding seasons in a sports video game, mind you, I've been playing sports games since the 90's.

Pro Tip: It's a grind to get through the first 10-15 games. You'll probably doubt yourself or want to restart/quit, don't. Once you get over the hump, it starts to become very worth it.

I tried quick count and I've also had critical situations on. Something just felt "off" with the game when i have those options on.

I use Armors sliders exclusively. Maybe if someone could recommend a tweak to have it match QC gameplay, i would go with that.

I actually use Pulse pitching for DD mode and enjoy it more than classic but i can't find any good slider combos to match QC with Pulse pitching.

I would not use critical situations. It tries to be a version of Madden's Play the Moments, but it is nowhere near and probably ruins your experience. QC's is the only "sim" feature I would ever suggest in The Show.

Thank you. I just adjusted SP stamina to 6 for me and the cpu and lowered RP to 4, using Armor Sliders and QC. See how that goes for a few games.

I play every pitch of every game 100%. I want all results to be because of me. I have finished a full season and postseasons playing every game in past MLB The Show games before.

I'm currently a few days away from the 2018 All-Star break.
