I play mostly single player diamond dynasty, where sliders have no effect. The fielder speed and reaction compared to base runner speed is rediculous. I’m getting tired of seeing outfielders with jet packs catch line drives in the gap... or when I do hit one in the gap, what SHOULD an easy double or down the line and I almost get thrown out at second with a batter who isn’t slow at all. Runners with 50 speed or slower is like Bartolo Colon with 1 leg on the basepaths. For some reason fielders are on turbo on default and I’m getting tired of it.

Do you have the same experience outside of Diamond Dynasty?
I only play franchise with Legend difficulty and default sliders and my experience is that the game is balanced. I can hit balls in the gap, down the line, and over a fielders head and get doubles with below average runners, and at times triples with speedy guys. Same for cpu hitting against me.
I don’t see fielders being on “turbo”.

Fielder speed at 2 or 3 does wonders for this game. It is indeed a huge improvement. Since you said you’re playing single player DD anyway, maybe it’s time to switch it up and start a franchise with your own sliders?Last edited by jeffy777; 10-09-2018, 09:12 AM.Comment
