MLB The Show 19: Aging Contracts

One thing I'd really like to see addressed in this year's game is the ability to move a lucrative contract for an aging player in trade talks.

For example, Robinson Cano has amazing trade value in MLB the Show 18. in reality, the Mariners would likely be happy just to give away his contract at this stage.

As another example, Buster Posey and Brandon Crawford are two very expensive contracts, and both are aging. Unfortunately you can get a king's ransom for either player if you trade them in franchise.

I'd really like to see San Diego Studios make it increasingly difficult for you to move bad contracts in this year's game.

    Thoughts?

This would be cool if they could figure out a way to do it.

I mean. Posey is still a great player lol. He was unfortunately injured for most of this season and a chunk last year. Maybe not ‘Kings ransom’ kinda guy but a lot of teams would love to have him at catcher. I get what you’re saying for the most part though.
