    Perfect Game

Yes!!! I just threw a perfect game with Blake Snell against the Red Sox. First time in my life on any video game that I've ever thrown a perfect game or no-hitter. 104 pitches with no walks and 15 strikeouts!! Oh man!! So epic!!

Congrats. And an against the BoSox no less. Great games against quality teams make it that much sweeter. Like, is it really a perfect game or no hitter if its against the Marlins?
And on top of that, to me games like this against teams using a DH is notable as well. One of the worst feelings I've had baseball video game-wise, was a game against the Mets IIRC, I was winning something like 10-0 and I had a no-no in the 8th inning and Derek Lowe gave up a homer to Bobby Parnell. Yeah, a freaking pitcher. And a reliever, at that.

What is the most innings you've ever thrown with a starting pitcher in a game? I just threw a 10 inning complete game shutout with Blake Snell against the O's. Yeah, Snell is hot stuff in The Show!! Cy Young Award winner don't ya know? LOL!

I had Tim Wakefield go over 150 pitches once, years ago. But he didnt have anything near a perfecto or no-no. Far from it, IIRC walks wild pitches and homers on his tally but that knuckler will sure save stamina.

Can't pitch with a knuckleballer. This year is the first time I've been any good using sinkerballers. Guys like Medlen and Huddy used to kill be in previous years because I just couldn't throw quality strikes with them and when I did it got hit hard.

My first perfect game was in The Show 2011 with Cliff Lee against the Cardinals. I’ll never forget it lol.

Congrats. I’m still looking for my first. I’ve almost witnessed a no hitter by the CPU vs CPU... only to be ruined by a drag bunt in the 9th inning I believe. Big NO! That wasn’t cool at all! CPU is dirty that’s for sure!

It would be one of those neat "little things " if you looked in on the next cpu vs cpu game between those two teams and the pitcher plunked that drag-bunter in his next AB

                    Re: Perfect Game

My first perfecto was in MVP 05. I had Jake Peavy going against the Angels. With 2 outs in the ninth I had only Vlad Guerrero left. Remember, MVP had sliders for plate discipline AND swinging strike frequency (something The Show desperately needs). Vlad didn't strike out much and swung at everything. Needless to say, my first pitch was a change or two steamer away, which he drove to right. My right fielder leapt into the stands and pulled it back, giving me a 1-0 win.

Lol yeah unfortunately it was a play now game not a season mode. But yeah that would have been pretty cool if that happens.
