Ideas for starting a new Franchise in '19.

So I'm 3 years deep into my franchise, and I love it. Had some unrealistic stats my first year due to not turning up the difficulty far enough, but its been so fun.
I'm hoping MLBTS19 brings updates to franchise mode, but even if it stays the exact same with small tweaks, Ive decided that I'll be starting a new franchise.
Here's the deal though. I would ideally like to start in this 18-19 off-season. Currently we have the option to start in Spring training, or Opening Day, which is great. I feel like there are so many posibilites if we could start on the first day after the close of the world series. Or the day that free agency starts.
Do y'all know any way of accomploshing this other than simming (which won't accuratly reflect the Service time and stats of the season before)? What do y'all think about them adding this as an option to start franchise mode?

There's no way to currently do it but I would love to see it added to The Show or Madden. I'd love to see it in Madden where we could select to start at the beginning of the previous year's draft.

Back to The Show, I'd definitely like to see this included but to try to do some sort of workaround, you could start it right before MLB19 comes out and then transfer it over and sim to the offseason...not much else you could do to accomplish this.
