What's your "ultimate satisfaction" in The Show

    Hello all, it's been awhile. I didn't buy 2018 and haven't play 2017 in months(it's been a cold winter)
Anyways, I was wondering what everyone enjoys the most when finishing a season?

For me it's bittersweet, all that work I put into the current season now means nothing and it's back to square one. Yes, prospects evolve and players change but what are you actually happy about when it's all said and done?

I remember the last time I won the World Series in The Show, I was more relieved than excited, I didn't get that satisfaction and the off-season may have something to do with it.
I think playing through a grueling season and grinding the playoffs only to crawl through the off-season is such a drag. And at the end of the off-season you began another grueling season. I love the postseason atmosphere but there needs to be more differences from game 1 to game 162.
I think we need faster off-season, no more day to day, overall not much happens every single day. Also make spring training have a purpose, maybe giving players who are hot a overall boost for part of the season video versa, idk give me a reason to play spring training.

I will be buying The Show this year (I hope) and I'm really looking forward to a satisfying game. What will that be? I'm not sure yet...

I've sadly never finshed a franchise season but it is satisfying in Rtts when you get a seasons worth of stats to look at.

The most satisfying experience imo is hitting an outside pitch the otherway

finishing the season 65-97 but not quitting in early September just because you're 30 games out of 1st and not a doughnuts chance in a fat kids hand of even sniffing a wild card spot. Of course losing isn't satisfying but you can observe a lot just by watching how NOT to play ball.

I still love the classic milestones tbh, like 30/40 homers, 40/50 steals, etc etc. Think the game could do a bit more to highlight it tbh, like maybe a "players to watch" stat tracker tab telling you player x has 192 homers for their career, player y is on 28 homers for the year etc etc, at the moment it's almost exclusively reliant on you showing enough interest to dig out all this information on your own. Those little milestones to look out for are always satisfying amidst the grind of a 162 game season

Seeing a spot on Willie McGee in the player vault. Such an odd looking person created so well really is pleasing.
