Anyways, I was wondering what everyone enjoys the most when finishing a season?
For me it's bittersweet, all that work I put into the current season now means nothing and it's back to square one. Yes, prospects evolve and players change but what are you actually happy about when it's all said and done?
I remember the last time I won the World Series in The Show, I was more relieved than excited, I didn't get that satisfaction and the off-season may have something to do with it.
I think playing through a grueling season and grinding the playoffs only to crawl through the off-season is such a drag. And at the end of the off-season you began another grueling season. I love the postseason atmosphere but there needs to be more differences from game 1 to game 162.
I think we need faster off-season, no more day to day, overall not much happens every single day. Also make spring training have a purpose, maybe giving players who are hot a overall boost for part of the season video versa, idk give me a reason to play spring training.
I will be buying The Show this year (I hope) and I'm really looking forward to a satisfying game. What will that be? I'm not sure yet...
