No, there's one that's like 12 minutes long. It's not very impressive honestly. I mean, I don't blame SDS for that. They said don't share it because of that I'm sure. It's not a finished product.

I realize that we don't usually get much info until after the Super Bowl, but hasn't there been a very short teaser trailer by this point in previous years? I seem to remember something of the sort around Christmas either last year or the year before (or both).

I hope they go back to the first info is a features fact sheet, and just put asterisk on features that are pending and possibly could not make the cut for 2019. I like the streaming, I just don't care for the secrecy. Because every stream we have to deal with the hiding of features and stuff looks out of place and people start with the disappointment chatter. Be disappointed with the fact sheet in February, and not towards the end of March.

Never gonna happen. Text lists just aren't how this type of information/hype is disseminated anymore. With the advent of streaming and YouTubing, asking for a return to a write-up is like asking for them to write it in Old English and then mail it to you using the Pony Express.

Yeah, they are damned either way. Release info early and people say it looks the same. Release info later and people say where's the info.

I'd think this would be less of an issue if people didn't already have the criticism that the series was getting stale and modes getting removed/emphasis only on DD. At this point, the devs are on pretty thin ice as far as trust is concerned, whereas a couple of years back the overall sentiment seemed more positive toward them and their intentions to do big things despite a small studio etc etc.

Still a long way from release. The plan from a marketing standpoint is to have peak interest on release day.

They announced a major rebuild of gameplay. It could be they are still tweaking that and want to get it right before they show video.

For thos having played the alpha or saw some leaked videos of gameplay? does it drastically change from mlb 18 or not? in term of graphics, gameplay?

I dont think anyone was shown the differences in the alpha, from what I gather it was more about being a test of the servers. I guess they work on improving them each year? I dunno, since I dont really play online.

I'm not talking about a text based release only. My opinion wasn't an either or, it was an "and" position. Release the fact sheet and have the stream also. There is no need to hide facts or features it you give caveats.
