Haven’t played since 10, batting question

On MLB 10 the show, I used 1-button batting. Would just hit “X”. Do the current ps4 versions have this option? That is all. Sorry for the ignorance, have barely been on these forums for the past 5-6 years

So, that’s all you have to do is swing, not point the stick or put a cursor in a zone or anything?

They have both zone hitting and directional/timing hitting in the game. If all you want to do is press X then you'd choose directional/timing hitting.
