Nine 'Little Things' I Want to See in MLB 19 The Show

The little things. So real, it’s unreal. Both terms have been used and are proud statements...

I like the trivia question one. Reminds me of how OOTP does that as various things save/load. I've learned quite a few funny/interesting tidbits from just watching the loading screens. It would be a neat addition to the broadcast in The Show and this isn't really an idea I've seen posted about before. Pretty original.

        Some nice touches but.

        Player's Hanging Over The Dugouts

There is the one static default for all teams. But I think this would need to be more of a add on to the in game presentation package. And not out of context just for show.

A good example of this would be Play Off or Big games and General Win/Batter/Fielding Accomplishments. When it makes sense for team members to be hyping up or encouraging and reacting to what is actually happening on the field.

Which reminds me why there are still no high fives in this game and are only seen on Home Run movie sequences.

Been way too long for these small additions to be added.

        Jumbo Trons

I don't know if it's just me but all the animation graphics on the Jumbo Tron's look old and pixelated and like they have not had a next generation face lift. But could definitely use more creativity in this area other than promoting the coming years title in a patch!

I want a season mode for minor league teams.  I would love to just pick a team like the mudcats or whoever and play just set the number of games like 29 . Why can you play a season mode without the minor league teams?  Oh wait I did not buy last years game because they didn't even have a season mode for major league teams either.

              How about non-splitting broken bats?

I don't ever count this, but I bet there are 4-7 broken bats a game on average. You'll never tell unless you listen for it, but it's there. The splitting ones are a rarity.

I would like complete control after the play so I can throw the ball around. That was always something I enjoyed about baseball games in the past. MVP was he last series that allowed post play control. Since then, baseball games have been completely stagnant.

I would like to see a post game highlight show with highlights from other games, aka ESPN 2K5

How about new celebrations for winning the division, pennant and World Series? I'm sick of seeing a reserve outfielder hoisting the Commissioner's Trophy.

For Jumbo Trons I think they need to actually get each teams true win animation on there. The W in Chicago or other items that are team specific. As it stands they are very generic and similar no matter where you play.

Please bring in dynamic announcing. NBA 2k does an amazing job with this and MLB 2k did it too. How does this game still have a static announce team that will never say anything new?

@drugsbunny I completely agree. If true, it's crazy that MVP was the last where you could throw the ball around after the play. I LOVED that. It was part of my routine  just as it is in real baseball.
