Definitely some way to import players into an active franchise.

Also, would like to see Ohtani available as a two way player

I'm almost positive that Ramone said this will be available in 19.

Turns out one new feature - contracts - is what we got unless someone considers unlockable cheers to be a feature.

Franchise did use to have a owner mode aspect where you changed ticket pricing, vendor pricing, scheduled promotions, provided facilities for your players, signed network and advertisement contracts, and determined their modes of travel.


There were some bugs with it (I remember players who weren't on my team complaining about the lack of certain facilities, most famously Rodrigo Lopez when he was Baltimore would complain about my team, the San Diego Padres, not having a gym, it did give me quite the chuckle).


Anyways, as for my one change, Games of Note during the season. It'd be nice to see a list of no-hitters, perfect games, 4+ hit games, 4 HR games, 15 K+ games, cycles, and other rare feats accomplished.

Just put rotating interleague schedules in and I'm ok. A feature Baseball games from 20 years back had yet the Show Cannot seam to crack the code and implement in to today's upgraded systems

I’d like SDS to get the rights to the top 20 or so prospects so we wouldn’t have to wait for rosters. I’d be fine to start my franchise with 20 real prospects.

Expand the player base. I lose a ton of players in my carry over roster, the fringe players who are not on the 40 man rosters and might, or might not have a team so they are dumped from the game. Guys like Adam Rosales, who could wind up in the minors.

They do have the rights. they just choose not to pay money to have the rights. (Ohtani was the only special case) if they wanted to they could pay to have the top 100 prospects.

Improved Draft/Scouting.

No more 24 year old MLB ETA 2030 getting in the way.

More realistic CPU Generated Players in terms of Faces/Facial Hair/Accessories. Most of the time these randomly generated players look scary with crazy facial hair and stupid Equipment.

If I Scout someone, I know if they are declaring for the draft or not. I spend a lot of time drafting players who end up not even being in the draft and I have to guess in the later rounds only to see the players in the scouting menu the following season again.

When I'm playing a game and a player gets injured, I'd like the game log to record the message I got saying the player was injured. Often times, I'm hitting X and I miss the message and the next thing I know I have to replace my injured player, but I have no idea what happened until after the game is over.

like have a screen come up saying u need to remove lets say 300 players from the game or u can have it auto done if u choose

A big thing for me would be the way pitchers progress along their career. Make a way to move pitchers from starter to reliever that alters their stamina. Make pitchers build stamina during their career. Have individual pitches get better or worse and be able to gain or decrease speed
