It's weird how subdued he sounds on the game because he's really animated in real life.

This is the same problem the NHL series has with Doc Emerick (spelling?). He’s super animated in real life, but very reserved in the game. I think it’s difficult for the crossover to occur

I forget when he started, but I think most of us have memorized his home run calls by now and the majority of his lines. So frustrating.


Have noticed how they haven't touched at all on commentary outside of the new reporter

Very true. I'm a huge hockey fan and Doc Fan and his excitement never came through in the NHL series.


They are replacing him this year however with hopefully someone who can bring that excitement

love all the presentation detail screens into more stats. I hope though at some stage we get the less mainstream stats like AVG RBIs RUNS all those stats are good for the casual waters of baseball. but stuff like WAR OBP OPS (most important stat) stats like that tell you why Mookie Betts and trout are better then player X not just because of AVG
