With the new additon of March to October, how many games do you think you will get to play out of the 162 game schedule? Will it be like play opening day "win" and then sim for 10-15 games play again. Seeing how its a quicker season interesting to see how many games you actaully play.

That is a really good question. I am more interested though to find out what kind of overall experience I will get.

I am excited about this mode because of the presentation and storyline aspect.

But If I had to guess.....maybe we play 15 full games max in the regular season and every post season game if you make it there. I really think this is going to be a melting pot of all the ways you can play a game. Critical moments, player lock, half a game etc etc. Very curious about the entire experience.

That is why I am going to play it right out of the box. No waiting for rosters, or sliders needed. This is a pure default mode in the purest sense. So why not dive in with my favorite team first and go for it!!!!

Pretty sure they said in the stream that you don't play any full games, except game 7 of the World Series (if it comes to that)

Also, will they allow you to "sim" any of the games that you are expected to play?

Didn't look like it, they did the games live and they never had any options pregame, just jumped in. Maybe you could press a different button on the home screen to sim? It would have been written pretty small if that was the case so I wouldn't have spotted it, I assume not though as the theme of the mode is a curated experience with a lack of options/choices for the player to have to make

Not sure if I dreamed that but I think they mentioned something like 12 to 15 hours + playoffs.

It is possible that you may see breaks that long during the season but I would guess that it won't normally be that long of a gap. My guess is that you may jump into 40-50 different games/situations during a season. That kind of matches up with their 15-20 hour estimate, assuming most appearances are 3 innings, which take about 15-20 minutes each.

15-20 hours to finish MTO from what I remember.

Yeah I think it’s pretty much this. I don’t think there are any full games.
