They showed the final 10 multiple times, but not their attributes (someone listed the players on page 2 of this thread). They will show those on Monday's stream, or you can wait until you get the game a few hours later to see them.

    Go Bulldogs!!!

I don't think anyone wants to/would sit thru multiple 9 inning games that last nearly 45 minutes each.
If only there was a way to make a regular baseball game with real teams and uniforms 3 innings!

Despite the complaining, I do think the game is looking very crisp. Subtle improvements but definitely looking better than MLB 2018.

I only watched about 30 minutes, and saw two instances of Ramon taking a bad route to a ball and having his fielder run right past the spot. I get that he took a bad route, but the game should account for that by having him miss the ball or make an error, not just run right passed the ball like he doesn't see it. That was the first thing I thought of when they talked about fixing defense this year...

This has been in the game for YEARS. The fielders have no perception of the ball in space, they only have perception of where the circle is to catch the ball and if they don't get there fast enough or if they take a poor route, the animation to catch the ball doesn't kick in at all, leading to a 2-3 base error. It's absurdly unrealistic to say the very least.

I think another reason is that by doing a BR draft, the teams would be more evenly matched than using MLB teams. And they probably wanted to show off some legends. I liked how they did it this year. It let us see a variety of different players instead of nothing but players from top rated teams.

Thought as a hitter the pitch speeds looked really good.

However, as the behind the pitcher view, the ball looks like a frisbee going to the plate. Is that an online thing? I don’t recall it being so severe in offline 18 from that view point.

Hit variety looked incredible to me, always my #1 factor in this game

Yes, it's an online thing (LAN in this case, since the devs are obviously on their own closed network). It's done that way so the batter gets an offline-like experience without input lag as they see the ball coming in - the game momentarily desyncs pitcher and batter (which is why the pitcher's view appears to slow down), and then re-syncs them when contact is made - that's the reason for the short pause.

You won't see that pause or slowdown in offline games.

Appreciate it! Really looking forward to this years game. May even try my hand in DD for the first time.

Twitch is the world's leading video platform and community for gamers.

Note: it is TEN HOURS of BR gameplay, including time spent drafting BR teams.
