I’m sorry but pitching is a joke in this game. I have an era of 2 after 20 franchise games and the game has become boring on Legend meter. This game was once great and has been dumbed down. The cpu can’t hit!

Amazes me. How the heck can we have such different experiences. If you read my franchise posts (in the franchise thread) I've gotten bombed by the CPU, just lately, and I haven't posted it, by 9 runs. I've got relief pitchers that I cringe everytime I bring them in because I sorta know what I'm working with. But, that's part of the fun of the game.

I actually envy you, would be awesome if my era was 5 lol. What lineups have you played? They just can’t score on me with risp, it’s consistent enough that it’s taking the fun away from playing

I'm using a carryover save so the lineups I've faced aren't exactly what you'd see on a 2019 roster for any given team.

Freddie Ferguson may be my new least favorite umpire. I don't understand his zone..it fluctuates from pitch to pitch..

Reminds me of the Brewers-Cards opening series when they kept talking about Dakota Hudson not giving up the long ball.Then he gave up 3 in short order.

Freddie Ferguson may be my new least favorite umpire. I don't understand his zone..it fluctuates from pitch to pitch..

Is he the one that gives every pitcher the inside/outside corners? There’s one ump in the game where a pitch will be easily 6 inches off the plate and it’ll be a strike.
Then another one loves the strike waaaay below the knees, to the point where when you check the pitch history the entire ball marker will be out of the zone.

No...Ferguson has no set strikezone. He just calls whatever he feels. Throw a fastball on the corner one pitch and its a strike. Same exact pitch and spot and its a ball on the very next pitch.

I lost control of a slider last night that went behind Freddie Freeman, knocked FredBird off the dugout and Ferguson called it a strike.

That would be Clyde Washington. He has the lowest strike zone of any umpire in the game.

And my new favorite umpire to dislike is Dave Lawrence. SOB is blind as a bat.

Before this weekend is over I will give a full impression/review on 19.
