I agree. I don't think the swoosh is too big and they kept the integrity of most uniforms anyways.

I hate the Nike emblem that prevalent on the jersey. I think its hideous and should be removed. I wont ever use this jersey if I have a choice. Honestly, it will even factor in my plans to purchase the game as a whole.

That would be pretty sad if the swoosh factors in to you even buying the game. It will hardly be noticeable mid game

Wow, they even got to the Yankees. With this and the NBA US major sports are converging with the Europen soccer model. Too much money at stake to avoid I guess.

Lol you clearly haven’t seen a European soccer kit if you think this is anything like it. The NBA jerseys are slightly closer in the sense that they have an ad, but not even remotely close to the scope of soccer kits. I bet you don’t even know what a majority of the EPL teams crests look like because they’re the smallest logo on their kits lol. And the team names are usually only on the sleeves. Baseball fans are getting quite hyperbolic about this. But it’ll be fine 10 games into the season lol. The uproar about New Era hats ended pretty quick.

The teams all give their input on jersey designs, and ultimately make the final decisions. There seems to be a misconception that Nike unilaterally designs their jerseys but in the NBA every single team designed their own with input from Nike designers. The teams made the choices lol. I imagine it’s the same story here. For example, the Padres and Brewers have been discussing and toying with the idea of going to their more classic looks for years.

He's referring to the swoosh on the jersey. Teams don't have a choice with that. Idk why people are up in arms about it. Under Armour was originally supposed to take over and backed out of the deal. Had UA taken over their logo would have been on the chest as well.

Yep. Teams design their own logos and uniform designs, Nike just confirms them and slaps on the swoosh.

Meh, I think it would be a lot better if the swoosh was on the sleeve but I dont really care that much. As long as they dont make stupid changes to teams' jerseys im aight

Wonder how the devs will handle throwbacks moving forward. I’m assuming the Majestic logo will be absent from all recent uniform sets, as I wouldn’t think they would have the rights anymore for the brand.

And with the slots system, will these new uniforms override the other most recent sets? Or will they remove a lesser used uniform for those teams, or something that is far older?

And will they slap the Nike logo on the chest of jerseys that never had the Nike logo on them, historically? That would really bother me.

I like Nike clothing and shoes. I’ve met Uncle Phil and he’s an interesting dude, for sure. But I dislike the prominence of the branding on these new uniforms. It’s very amateurish, in my eyes. The sleeve would’ve been much less invasive and more fitting of professional look, for my tastes. It is what it is, and so long as this move keeps other ads from being featured on the uniforms then I’ll swallow my displeasure moving forward. Time will tell.
